I’ve been in the midst of a calendar crisis.
If you’ve known me for any length of time, you’ll realize how stupid that sounds. I don’t use a calendar.
Wait. What day is it?
Last night my daughter asked, “Is my chorus concert Wednesday?”
“No. It’s next week.”
“Are you sure?” she asked.
I’ve learned one thing through the years, I am sure of very little. Everything is subject to change and I make mistakes. I’m fairly certain we’re not missing the concert. Although, once, I did make my husband sit through a presentation for a class neither of my children attended. (Go read that story. It will make you feel better about yourself.) Like I said, I make mistakes.
This morning I realized we have two weeks until Christmas. I have one gift and a ham. I may be a little late to this holiday. If anyone out there is lagging behind me, please speak up. We can band together and form a support group. Then we can exchange gifts on the twenty-ninth when we’re good and ready.
My main problem with calendars is that I
don’t use them the boxes are too small.
For the last year, I’ve been using a calendar to organize my blog. Now, when I say using I really mean I’ve filled up half the pages for this year and most of those pages are sketchy. Whole weeks of my blogging life are missing. Then I used three pages just for October and finally switched to writing things in pencil. I’m smart like that.
So, I’ve been searching for printable calendar pages with larger squares and I couldn’t find any, so I made my own – a week at a glance.
So far, I like them. It’s working for me. I punch holes in them and put them in a 3-ring binder. I may even make a month at a glance, just to be fancy, but for now, I’m sharing my week at a glance calendar pages with you.
You can download one or all and switch them out. I didn’t include the dates. I’ve been writing them in at the top of each box this way I can print one page ten times and have ten interchangeable weeks of calendar pages.
These are pretty simple, nothing fancy, but they work.
Feel free to share them, pass them around, and print to your heart’s content. All I ask is a link back here if you share them. I’d appreciate that.

So, now that we’re ll organized, let’s get to work!
I’m thinking about using one page for the blog and another for personal stuff I need to schedule. That may cause my brain to go into overdrive. If you see steam coming out of my ears, call in an organizational expert. Although, I think I’d stress her out.
It’s my first time using Google Documents or making printables, so if this doesn’t work for you, please, please let me know.
I’ll fix it!
