Since today is a shower scrubbing kind of day, I figured I may as well scrub up the blog a bit too. I’ve been neglecting some blog maintenance. It’s my least favorite part of this job. Actually, my least favorite part is no paycheck, but this isn’t really a job, so I shan’t whine. It’s all for fun around here and that’s the way I like it.
First of all, I forgot to announce the winner of the Urban Tickle Giveaway. Silly me!
Congratulations to Charming Mama. You won!
Please send me an email with your choice of print and an address where your print can be mailed. Thanks so much. Hope you enjoy it and share a photo of how you use your new print in your home.
Second, we’ve got big things coming up on The Domestic Fringe. Not so big as a Kitchen Aid giveaway, but not so small as another boring mid-week kind of post. That leaves a lot of gap for your imagination, doesn’t it?
On Saturday, I’d like to welcome an old friend (except she’s really young, so a young old friend) to The Fringe. She’ll be sharing a truly Pinterest-Worthy tutorial with us. Don’t miss out!
Then Sunday is Father’s Day. I’ll probably get around to a proper Father’s Day post sometime in the middle of next week, just like I did for Mother’s Day. If you knew me in real life, you’d know I’m slow with holidays. It just takes me a few days to catch up with all the celebrating, but I get to it. Eventually.
Monday I have an exciting post to share with you. It’s different for me and this blog. It’s part book review and part me spilling my guts onto a blank page. You may want to skip the guts part, but definitely stop by for the book review. It’s a game changer.
I’d also like to say a big fat THANK YOU to all the newbies around here. Several people have recently subscribed to this little blog and “liked” it on Facebook. I appreciate each one of you and I’m not just using flattery because I want your full loyalty and unwavering support. Nope. Wouldn’t want that.
Ok. Maybe I would, so Thank you for joining the witty, sometimes kooky group of blog readers known as The Fringe Friends.
I just made that Fringe Friends thing up, but doesn’t it sound good, like we could all jump on the couch and watch a movie together?
Pass the popcorn. Will you!
And finally, I have a blog button. I was kind of feeling like the totally uncool girl with braces, freckles and pig-tails who didn’t have a blog button. It’s probably because I did have braces and freckles, but by the time the braces went on, I was rocking a version of the ever popular mullet. Don’t be jealous.
If you want my blog button, it’s here.
Here’s the code…I think you have to link it back to my blog on your own.
<a href=”http://tinypic.com?ref=2b64vo” target=”_blank”><img src=”http://i44.tinypic.com/2b64vo.jpg” border=”0″ alt=”Image and video hosting by TinyPic”></a>
If it doesn’t work, call my people. I’ll get them on it ASAP.
What? I don’t have people? I thought for sure they came with the blog button.
And finally again, but this is the last finally. I promise. I may in the not so distant future publish the post Baby Story 2 right here on my home page. It’s got a page of its own right now and I haven’t a clue why. I just want it to go into the archives and the only way I can figure is to post it here, so if you see it come up in your reader one day, you’ll know I didn’t suddenly have another Baby 2. It’s the same one, only it’s time to archive her.
Whew! I think we’re done. Scrubbing the shower may have been easier than sorting out that mess.
Happy Friday Peoples! Don’t forget to come back tomorrow and welcome my guest. Clap real loud for her. Okay?
Thanks I’ll send you and e-mail soon. And I am happy to be known as one of the friends on The Fringe.
Exciting, intriguing, and all those good things! Scrubbing up anything is a pain in the keester, but so worth it on the other side. LOL about getting around to a Father’s Day post- I hear that!
You are busy, mama! Excited to read about Pinterest… and your guts. Also? Never thought I’d ever type that sentence
That’s a lot you’ve got going on. I’d still not rather clean the shower though.
