Insta-Friday is all about the pictures.
They are a pretty good summary of my week.
I took this picture on Thanksgiving morning.
I loved the way the light was spilling brightness all over.
My mother made fun of my little pumpkins.
So I took another picture.
I still have the pumpkins.
I know we’re a whole week into December, but I can’t bring myself to throw them away just yet.
My mother has taken up knitting.
She’s one step away from the home.
I’m kidding. Of course of I am.
We had a good laugh over the caption on this photo.
No holiday is complete without a game, now is it?
I’m kinda digging the Star Wars theme and I’m not even a fan of Star Wars.
My son is a loyal follower.
She turned to the Dark Side.
There’s no coming back.
He got the last piece of pumpkin pie.
He wished it were larger.
Little bits of vintage Christmas.
I’m pretty sure this stuff is going to be in heaven.
Have you tried it?
I have a recipe coming soon using this.
But, it’s good by the spoonful too.
I use a vintage tablecloth as a tree skirt.
I just haven’t found one I love.
What does your tree skirt look like?
My mom and I bought matching hats.
Hers is white.
Do you think it was a lapse of good judgement to buy matching hats?
I look a little like The Cat in The Hat.
I do love the color though and it’s so warm.
I can’t decide if it’s stylish or if I’m in line behind my mother for the home.
What thinks all of you fashionable people?
This may not look like much, but it’s grocery store coming to my town.
I can not wait!
Seriously, it will be so nice.
Only a ten minute walk to the store or a hop in the car.
I’m already planning my trips.
And this store will double coupons.
The grand opening won’t come soon enough.
These happened today.
They are chocolate pumpkin muffins.
I used the same recipe as the pumpkin spice cookies.
I simple used a Devil’s Food cake mix and a can of pumpkin.
So good.
Thank you sweet reader for letting me know they make wonderful muffins.
That’s my week in photos!

What has your week looked like?
I love your new hat!! I might even be tempted to wear one occasionally if it was that neat! Needless to say, we don’t have a great selection of winter hats down here. But, then, I don’t need them very often down here either!!!!
Your new hat is pretty close to the new Panetone Color of the Year…
You are IN!
(and I love your little pumpkins! Spray paint ’em gold and use them for Christmas decorations!
That cookie spread: it’s called Speculoos and it’s from the speculaas cookie. It’s very Dutch and very yummy. I use it in tons of recipes or just use the spices that are used to make the cookies.
