One cold morning my neighbor, the pastry chef, and I sat sipping our steaming cups of tea and eating another of the delectable sugar and butter concoctions my friend created. It was on that calorie filled day I shared my desire to make vanilla extract. A plan was hatched and Fringe Vanilla was born, only its birth took another two years.
