Art Prints

I’ve always loved pretty things, or pretty to me things (I know taste is unique and quite varied), but in recent years, I’ve discovered the benefits of adding beauty to my walls.

Now what I love in my heart and what hangs on my walls are two different things.  It will take me a lifetime to decorate my house the way that I really want to, but in the meantime, I’m perfectly happy with the random trash-to-trasure pallet hanging on my wall.  However, one of these years,  I want my walls filled with lots and lots of art.

Hanging art brings beauty without clutter and I appreciate not having too many things that require me to move them around in order to dust.

I know, I know.  Pictures need dusting too, but somehow that’s different.

I have a long hallway with about 24 hooks for coats, bags, and all sorts of snow gear. I would love to turn the top half of my ‘coat wall’ into a mini gallery filled with all of my favorite art.  Of course a gallery wall like that would include my children’s art along with fun prints like these.

Art Prints for Little Girls

Now if you have kids, you’ll have a blast browsing through those art prints.

A few years ago, as my daughter transitioned from little girl to tween, I redid her room.

I was sure to hang a few pieces of art, but her ceilings are high and she has a lot of white wall space.

I put together a collage of prints that would look adorable in her room.  I’m afraid to show her though.  She’ll want them all!

Wedding Invitations

After browsing Minted’s Wedding Invitations, I wanted a redo on my wedding.

Honestly, I would love to plan another wedding.  I think it would so much more fun now than it was when I was younger and stressed out by the details, but that is another post for another day.
