It’s What I Wore Wednesday time again, the day I show you what I wore all week.
I participate, along with hundreds of other women, in this weird phenomenon called WIWW. We don’t take photos to be self-absorbed or because we think we look great. We do it for motivation, so we’ll be aware of how we’re dressing every day.
In other words, we looked like bums and needed some sprucing up. Taking photos keeps us accountable. Sure it’s crazy, but it works. Except on the days it doesn’t.
I hate to say this, but I wore this t-shirt twice this week. That happens. I’m a big clothing repeater. If I wore it on Monday and loved it, there’s a good chance you’ll see it again before Saturday.
(According to this picture, I am SO gonna need a facelift and maybe a chin vacuuming. Not excited.)
Everyone who does WIWW lists where they purchased their clothes. Some people do this so others can run out and buy their outfits. I know you’re not going to want to do that with my clothes, but I still try and list the stores, so you’ll have an idea of where I shop, etc.
Almost everything I buy is off a clearance rack, so if by chance you actually like something enough to buy it, you’re probably out of luck.
Sorry.
Purple T-Shirt: GAP, Jeans: Target, White shirt: Target, Flip-Flops: They’re so ugly…Do you really want to know? Wally-World.
Yes, I’ve taken to posing in weird places.
Shirt: Old Navy, Skirt: Thrifted (Old Navy)
Here’s the t-shirt again.
I wore yoga pants all day. It was Saturday. These photos aren’t in order by day. Please don’t make me be that exact.
T-shirt: GAP, Yoga Pants: Hand-me-Down
This is just a really bad picture. I think there was too much sun.
The shirt is polka-dot and I actually like it quite a bit in real life. The outfit needs a brightly colored belt, but I don’t have one. I guess that will be something to look for, maybe at yard sales.
Shirt: Kohl’s, Jeans: Same as above.
Pants: Kohl’s, Shirt: Old Navy, Necklace: Francesca’s, Shoes: K-Mart
Ok, I really like this skirt and top. It’s super comfortable.
The entire outfit came from….wait for it….Walmart and cost right around $20. That doesn’t count the white tank top I’m wearing underneath, but I already had that (it’s from Kohl’s).
Although I bought this a few months ago, I think Walmart probably still has it.
Ok, so I thought this outfit needed a necklace. I only had one gold necklace that I though could work, but my family vetoed it, saying it made the outfit too crazy.
I really liked it and I don’t know why I asked their opinion. I should have just worn it.
What do you think?
It’s all coming down to your vote.
Let me know in the comments.
Now, tell me, what did you wear this week?
I’m also linking over here…come on over for more fashion inspired posts.
You’re hilarious. I’m a huge repeater too – which is why I am doing this 30 day challenge! I think you should try knotting that top with the maxi skirt – to the side, like in the photos in my post today.
I’d love to see how it looks that way. I love the outfit, and the bright colors definitely suit you.
Aw… you’re so lovely! You look adorable in everything! That maxi skirt is awesome! Going to *pin* it! ♥
Thanks for linking up for Passion For Fashion… hope to see you again next week! ♥
I can’t believe you got that striped skirt at Wal-Mart!!! I’ve been looking for one. I like the necklace on the left the best but you’re adorable in both.
Blessings,
Cyndi
I haven’t stopped by in a while…I love that outfit and your hair!!! I like the necklace on the left best
Oh my goodness, lady! Outfit #5 with the chevron skirt and subtly striped shirt is gorgeous! And I like it with both necklaces, honestly. You can probably get away with wearing it with anything!
Thanks Tiffany! I love that outfit too. It’s really comfy and can you believe it came from Walmart? I love that.

I repeat during the week too! Less washing.
love the orange chevron skirt. I vote pendant necklace!
Yes. Whatever I can do to lessen the wash load (pun intended), I will do it!
I think I like the longer necklace. The whole out fit looks great on you!
blue hue wonderland
Thanks so much!
Love, love that skirt! I also like the necklace on the left, but…I have a hard time with necklaces, so don’t listen to me!
I love the first necklace. Your hair looks fabulous and that chevron maxi is amazing! You look stunning!
Love the maxi skirt outfit! Long necklace or no necklace.
I’d definitely say the necklace on the left, it is beautiful
So loving the posing in odd places and I have a crush on the orange!
I actually like both necklaces! One dresses up, one down. Both work!
Definatelty the long gold necklace. The gold color works great with the outfit and it is just funky enough to be extra cute.
Thanks Beverly. I think the long gold necklace has definitely gotten the most votes. And, I like funky. 😉

I like the small face pendant best. Love the outfit.
Thanks Alice. Appreciate the comment.
I think the shorter necklace looks better with ankle length skirt. Are you working out or is it just weight loss from the virus that you’ve been sick with? You look good!
Thanks Natasha. No working out for me right now, although I certainly NEED to be working out. I have no excuse, except that I’m lazy. I did lose a few pounds with the virus. I’m still not sure if that virus was worth it or not though. It was terrible!
I agree with Candy – the necklace on the right. It’s simpler and doesn’t compete with all of the stripes.
Cuz’ I’m such a Fashionista and all. Bahaha!
Missy, come on. You know you’ve got a fashionista lurking just below the surface. 😉
One day you’ll join us for WIWW. I know it!
~FringeGirl
The necklace on the left! Love the skirt! (And the purple T-shirt.)
Thank you Muddledmom. And, thanks for noticing my beloved (think comfy) purple t-shirt.
~FringeGirl
The longer one with green sandals.
lol. I don’t have green sandals, but it’s a good idea!
~FringeGirl
Ooo…Love that last outfit with the longer necklace!!
Thanks Deanna. My vote is for the longer one too. Next time.
~FringeGirl
I go for the long one. Don’t listen to your kids!! Take it from me, they are your biggest critics!!,
Ha, ha, ma. I get the point, but you’re right. I should listen to my kids on fashion.
You, though, should definitely listen to your kid when it comes to fashion. 😉
I vote for the one on the left!
Thanks Karen!
Left one for sure girl! You’re going monochrome with the outfit, so you gotta let it pop with some bling. It finishes the outfit by smoothing out the funky (cute-funky) monochrome thing you’ve got going. Looks great
See Jeanine, I wasn’t even considering the monochromatic thing…so many things to think about. I always like some bling that pops though.
~FringeGirl
Tricia, I kinda like the smaller necklace… and really love the outfit! Candy
Thanks Candy.
