Since I upgraded from a flip-phone to an iPhone, I’ve had fun with the photo feature.
I think my phone takes better pictures than my camera.
I feel like I’ve been silent here for a long time.
It’s a strange feeling.
Although I’ve been posting quite regularly, I don’t think I’ve been saying much.
I suspect it’s the ebb and flow of blogging, a season of life.
We’re just enjoying our summer.
We’re taking each day as it comes without grand expectations or hopes raised too high.
Mostly, we’re just soaking up the sunshine.
And each other.
We’ve done lots of reading.
I’m surprised by how many books I’ve knocked off my summer reading list.
I’ve been enjoying them quite a bit.
Thank you public library for keeping providing us lots of good books.
This is my favorite ice-cream – Blueberry Cheesecake Frozen Yogurt.
I can’t say I’ve seen many sunrises this summer, but the sunsets have been beautiful.
The only thing that’s throw me for a loop this summer is this….
I mean, I love bacon as much as the next girl, but bacon flavored dental floss?
Um, yuck, I think.
If you’re not following along on Instagram, I hope you will. Just click that little button.
If you’ve had your fill of photos and long for some words, I’m over at Fancy Little Things giving us all a pep talk.
I hope to see you there!
Bacon floss should be illegal. There. I said it. But those pictures? Beautiful and blissful and summery goodness. Oh yes indeedy!
That looks like a perfect summer to me! What books did you like the most?
Amazingly beautiful pics..perks of a smart phone:)
Sounds like a wonderful summer! Enjoy the rest of it.
Two things: 1. Oh how we miss Public libraries in America. Here in Portugal there is a 2 book minimum and it takes about 30 minutes for the kids’ books to be checked out AFTER they have chosen them. Everything is handwritten like in the 1970s.
and
2. I don’t normally floss, but I might start if I could do it with a good bacon-y flavor in my mouth.
That stinks about your library. I fear we would never read if it weren’t for our library. They get me almost any book I want and forgive me for returning them late. I’m so thankful for them.
We’ve been blessed to have books sent to us (as you know) brought to us, passed down, and Brooklyn is starting to read Kindle versions.
Love all your unique faces. Really great feel of summer in these pics. – Dani
Thanks Dani. Hope you are all enjoying your summer too.
Really nice pictures! But I’ll skip the Pep Talk, if only this once
Say Hi to Central New York for me…I miss it!!!!
