The other day, I gave you several reasons why I love dresses for summer. In case you missed them, I’ll briefly review.
- Dresses are comfortable
- Dresses are Not Fussy (at least they don’t have to be)
- Dresses are Affordable
- Dresses are Easy for Busy Women
So when a representative for Spiegel contacted me about reviewing their website, I was delighted.
Now, I don’t know about you, but when I think of Spiegel, I think of a catalog. Do you remember getting (or maybe your mom or grandma got) Spiegel catalog in the mail?
I haven’t seen one in years, so I had fun browsing through their website. I put together a few outfits with dresses that I thought were pretty and fun for summer.
All of the following images are from Spiegel.com. As of today, all the items are available for purchase.
I’m a huge fan of 60’s mod-style dresses. I think they are so adorable. I would absolutely love to wear this dress.
I also gravitate toward cuff bracelets, and animal print shoes are on my “wish” list.
I love, love this dress. The neckline is higher than most dresses, making it easy for days when I’m around children and end up bending over three thousand times. I also like the full skirt. It’s the perfect shape for my body, because it hides all my problem spots. I would most certainly be comfortable ordering it online.
Dress / Shoes / Bracelet / Clutch
Animal prints are very fashionable this summer. I know this dress may be a lot of leopard for some, but I love the shape of the dress. The defined waist, full skirt, and criss-cross top is very flattering on most women.
I’m also kind of in love with the studded clutch. It’s definitely not my go-to style for a bag. I usually carry oversized bags because I’m a lot like Mary Poppins. You never know what I’ll pull from my bag. I often carry around my camera, a water bottle, and other assorted stuff. Some days I even use my purse instead of getting a plastic grocery bag.
This clutch wouldn’t hold a jar of spaghetti sauce and a pound of pasta, but it would be nice for a date-night.
Be sure to check out the new Spiegel Summer Collection and also their Classic Collection.

Now what about you – Do you clothes shop online?
Have you ever been to Spiegel.com or ordered anything from Spiegel?
Which of the three collections above do you like the best?
I remember Speigel. My mom used to order from the catalog.
I love the color of the pink dress and it looks super comfy, too. But for looks, I’d have to go with the leopard dress and accessories. That seems like a stunning look to me!
Ooooh I love that orange bracelet!
Jo-Lynne, I’m a fan of the orange bracelet too. It’s a great color and I can think of a few outfits I’d like to wear it with. Thanks for stopping and commenting!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Super cute! I’ve never heard of Speigel before! Definitely gonna check them out!! I love dresses, but my biggest frustration is that they’re all so short since I tend to be on the tall side. I grew up at a college where dresses/skirts were required so I had TONS, but have gotten rid of almost all of them now because they’re so out of date. I’d love to find some cute replacements!! Btw, LOVE the black and white one you’re wearing!
Rachel, I understand. I’m actually on the short side, 5’5′, so most of the dresses that hit mid-thigh on models land just above or just at the knee for me.
Oh, and I went to one of those colleges too. Where did you go?
Thank you for the nice compliment on my black & white dress. I bought that a LONG time ago. It’s still a favorite.
