WIWW: Mother/Daughter Style

Please excuse the blurry cell phone pics.  I had my daughter snap these photos “just in-case”.

If you’re new around here or haven’t visited in a while, October is a month of Cheap Tricks.  We’re focusing on Living for Less and saving money in creative ways, but I felt like I needed a little break from the money talk.

Plus, October is also Breast Care Awareness month.  I have two aunts who fought breast cancer and won.  I’m so thankful they are cancer-free now!

In honor of Breast Care Awareness, J.Reneé asked me to tell you about how they are donating 10% of their October proceeds from jrenee.com to breast cancer research.  If you are in the market for a new pair of shoes or just want to shop in support of breast cancer research, visit J.Reneé and know that part of your purchase will go to a good cause.  Plus you’ll have a cute new pair of shoes.  Win-Win!

WIWW: Blue Lace Dress CollageDress:  Kohl’s (last year), Shoes: Miz Mooz

We went to a fundraiser event this past weekend and had fun getting all dressed up.  I bought this dress a year ago for well under $20 dollars and I’ve been waiting for an opportunity to wear it.  I can’t wait to wear it again!  I’m so glad I bought it when I saw it.

WIWW: Fitted Boyfriend Shirt and JeansShirt: GAP, Jeans, Kohl’s, Leather Cuff: Handmade Locally, Shoes: Crocs

WIWW: Oversized Sweater and Yoga PantsSweater:  GAP, Pants: Walmart, Shoes: Crocs

This is my lazy day look.  It’s ridiculously comfortable too.  There’s nothing like an over-sized sweater to make me feel all warm and cozy.

WIWW: Child StyleJeans: Walmart, Shirt & Sweater: Hand-me-Down, Boots: Hand-me-Down

My daughter is such a Diva.  She’s fun to photograph.  It’s like she was born to pose.  Very much unlike her mama.

She told to strike a Diva pose and this next photo is what she got.

I don’t do Diva well.

WIWW: Diva Look - Jeans and Polka Dots

Yup.  I’m a Dork with a capital “D”.

WIWW: 80's DayNo idea where her clothes came from…Hodgepodge is my best answer.

This outfit was for 80’s Day in school.

She rocks the 80’s, doesn’t she.

WIWW: Scarf and Military JacketJacket & Scarf: Kohl’s, Jeans: Target, Shirt: GAP, Shoes: Crocs

This picture made me realize how BAD cropped pants look on me.  I should never, ever wear them.  In fact, I should just give those jeans away.  I’ve worn them for two summers and I think that’s long enough.  They make me look really short.  Compared to the photo in the other jeans where my legs actually look long or at least long-ish.

WIWW: Gym ClothesYoga Pants:  Hand-me-Down, T-shirt:  Old Navy

So, the other day I talked about being on a diet and the results I’ve had so far.  I even asked if you wanted to join me in the Christmas Crunch Challenge.  I hope your silence means you’re considering it.

Anyway, I don’t actually have gym clothes or good sneakers.  That’s bad, right?  I know it is, especially since I twisted my ankle while running the other day.  I need to buy sneakers.

WIWW: Boots and JeansPants (they’re like jeggings without the spandex): Kohl’s, Boots: Target, Shirt: GAP

It’s my third year with those Target boots.  I almost have two holes worn in the sides of one foot.  I hope they make it through this winter.

I realize I needed to tuck my shirt in or something.  I didn’t really care though.  I wanted to be comfortable and I was!

WIWW Snuggie

This is what I wear when no one is looking.  Shhhh…..don’t tell.

What is your favorite thing about fall outfits?

Do you love the boots, the jackets, the scarves???

Love your Diva look and it’s my fav out fit on ya this time. Second are those cool boots. Love em. I just don’t know how you do these wiww posts. They are so fun. But I am afraid I just don’t know how to put my clothes together like that. Kinda wear what I have day in and day out. So thankful for them though.

I am a huge Kohl’s fan! It’s where I go most often. I LOVE your daughter’s boots! So cute!! One of the things I love about Fall is layering. You can make about 4 different outfits using the same two shirts! :-)

P.S. So glad the 80’s have come and gone! What were we thinking???

Cute! I love that you’re including your daughter. One reason I pray I have a daughter some day! My favorite thing about fall is boots. I wear scarves all year round, but the boots come out in fall!
