This past April, I received a pair of glasses from Firmoo.com. They changed my feelings about buying and wearing glasses.
In the past, I thought of glasses as being almost solely utilitarian. My style was restricted by price and availability. Now, thanks to online retailers, like Firmoo.com, my glasses are both utilitarian and fashionable. They are accessories, just like a necklace, scarf, or purse.
Being able to wear cute glasses is awesome, but being able to wear extremely affordable cute glasses is even better.
I love my blue and tortoise glasses from Firmoo, so when they approached me about trying out another pair, I was hesitant. I mean, I get compliments on my blue and tortoise glasses almost every day. When I go out, people always mention my glasses. My kids laugh and my husband rolls his eyes. The girl at my local coffee shop actually calls me “Firmoo” whenever I see her. It’s bizarre!
I love those glasses and they are really hard to top; however, I did order these burgundy glasses and am pleasantly surprised. I like them quite a bit!
Firmoo did it again! They gave me a quality pair of glasses that I love to wear.
It’s beyond wonderful to have eye-wear choices when I’m getting ready in the morning.
In the spring, I wrote a pretty extensive post on ordering glasses online. Be sure to check it out, especially if you’re thinking about shopping online for glasses.
Here’s the annotated version.
- Get a new prescription.
After your eye exam, you can ask your doctor for a paper prescription to take with you. Then you are free to shop for glasses anywhere, including online.
- Know your measurements.
Frames come in different sizes, just like faces. You need to find out what size glasses you wear. Are they small, medium, or large? You’ll need to read more on finding your numerical range in my last post.
- Upload photos.
One of the coolest things about shopping for eyeglasses online, is that Firmoo.com allows you to upload photos of yourself, so you can try the frames on.
- Enter your prescription.
It’s not complicated at all. It’s really just copying the numbers from your prescription and plugging them into the right place. The online instructions are clear and succinct. You can even scan your prescription and upload it.
My friends at Firmoo are offering you guys a discount on a pair of glasses. I’d take them up on that offer if I were you. Just saying.
Please use coupon code TRICIABLOGS4 at checkout and save $15.
The code will expire on February 24th. It can be used by 5 people, so hurry and be one of the five to save!
The discount is good on any frame found on this link – http://www.firmoo.com/classic-series.html. Shipping is excluded from the discount, and the discount is not available on sale/discounted frames.
This picture is just because I’m in love with my new GAP skirt. It was on clearance and then 40% off the clearance price. I was so happy to find it!!!! I had my eye on it for months, but the price tag was a little too high for me. So glad they still had my size when it hit clearance.
A big shout-out and thank you to one of my awesome co-workers and friends for taking these pictures for me. Guys, try not to be too jealous, but I get to work in the most awesome library ever.
The end.
Now, go get yourself some cute glasses!
Thank me later.
* I did not receive payment for this post; however, I did receive a free pair of glasses, and I had a blast working with a company I love. The life of a blogger is a very good life.
I absolutely love the skirt, and I think your glasses look great.
Thank you Jill. 🙂
